Private Pottery Experience

Enjoy one on one time with the artist and create a memorable piece and experience that you get to take home with you. It involves a one two hour session where you get to create your piece on the wheel with the artist guiding you every step of the way. It might be a bowl, cup, vase, whatever you’d lke the piece to be. This is perfect for a date night, gals night, Mother/Daughter nights, and gifts. It’s also perfect for anyone who’d like to sharpen up their wheel-throwing skills. Artist trims, glazes (you get to choose from multiple color options) and finishes your pieces.

Kid’s One on One Pottery Lessons

I cater to what each kid wants as they are one on one lessons. We make pieces such as planters, pumkpins, cups, tiles, cartoon characters, the sky is the limit! I start them off with the basics of ceramics; simple ceramic hand building skills such as coil building and pinch pots. Once they have established those techniques, we move to throwing on the potter’s wheel. They will get to take pieces home with them once they develop more skills at building clay pots and characters of their choice. The whole goal behind it is to allow kids and teeenagers to use their creative outlet, away from the tiring computer screens. The kids that I am teaching now love how they get to create and be loose and also get dirty!
